Celebrating my sister Amanda’s birthday in Costa Rica turned into the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. From exploring the vibrant streets and markets of San José to visiting Poás Volcano and Starbucks’ famous Hacienda Alsacia coffee farm, every day brought something new. One of the biggest highlights was a boat excursion to Tortuga Island where we snorkeled with colorful fish, spotted monkeys along the cliffs, enjoyed an authentic island-cooked meal, and relaxed in the crystal-clear water.
